Poly Pac Industries

A Study conducted in 1992 lead to the establishment of a company in 1994; namely Poly Pac Industries, a subsidiary of the S.S. Lootah Group with any annual production of 8-10 million polypropylene bags.

The generic product is called PP Bag whose primary use is for packing flour, sugar, fertilizer, rice, vegetables etc. The polyethylene (PE) liner bags can be manufactured and inserted, based on customer’s requirements to either retain the moisture content or to prevent it from entering the bag.

The unit employs the most advanced machinery mostly imported from Europe and some components from the Far East. Highly – qualified technical staff running the unit ensure compliance to the highest norms of quality control.

The company has the distinction of maintaining the highest quality standards, personalized service and timely delivery schedules at all times.

Reliable Steel Wire

IN a bid to meet the requirement of fishing industry for supplies of wire for fishing nets, S.S. Lootah Group established Reliable Steel Wire Industries (RSWI). The plant with annual capacity of 8,000 to 10,0 MT produces galvanized and non-galvanized wire.

The wire is used for making fish cages called ‘Gargoor’ traditionally used by the local fishermen; it also finds applications in production of spring mattresses and sofas, nails, fencing etc. RSWI is the only manufacture of its kind in UAE and provides assurance of timely supplies and high quality at all times. The company will shortly commence exports to neighboring states like Oman, Iran and Bahrain.

Currently, RSWI is in the process of re-structuring its technical management and equipment, which will upgrade the quality and production level. It will be back in the market in a short while.
